Introducing MSP360 Managed Remote Desktop 2.7

MSP360 Managed Remote Desktop 2.7 is here! This update introduces some new useful features.

Improved Connection Speed

We’ve made architectural improvements to the Remote Desktop transport protocol, giving you improved speed with no delays on slower connections. Remote Desktop is now faster and more stable.

Black Screen Option

Managed Remote Desktop now includes a black screen feature that allows an administrator to temporarily hide the screen from the user in order to make discreet management changes on the remote system. Black screen is enabled by default for unattended connections.

Free version of Remote Desktop has also received a couple of improvements:

• 2FA is now available for Remote Desktop users. Previously it was available in the Managed version on the account level, and now an extra layer of security is introduced for the free version as well. To enable this feature, go to Options->Security and click “Use 2FA”.
• The latest update to Meetings allows you mute and exclude participants to provide better control over your meetings. This feature is coming soon in the Managed Remote Desktop.
