MSP360 Backup 5.9 features enhanced implementation of Archive Mode.
If you don't recall, Archive mode instructs the app to merge your files into a single archive which is then uploaded to the backup storage. This approach reduces the number of requests sent to the storage and also helps reduce storage costs. In release 5.9 we've implemented support for Archive mode for Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and BackBlaze B2.
Another improvement in Archive mode concerns backup continuity. If a backup plan terminates in the middle of execution, you can restart the plan and it will resume data upload right where it left off. This continuity was achieved by splitting archives into 1-gigabyte files and uploading them one by one.
