We're looking for a Solutions Architect to help MSP360’s strategic partners build and implement cloud backup and disaster recovery solutions. The role also contains an evangelical aspect and there will be the opportunity to participate in industry events. In addition to the technical aspects of this role a high level of business acumen will be required.

Responsibilities

Meets or exceeds assigned strategic goals on a quarterly and annual basis
Understands and analyzes market competition and conditions
Provides technical thought leadership globally
Develops competitive strategies to position MSP360’s offerings as industry leading solutions
Develops tactics to achieve goals defined by management
Author reference architecture and artifacts
Author whitepapers and blog posts
Provide education to strategic partners
Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

Experience in technical software sales
University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or equivalent preferred
Ability to manage strategic partners with proven results
Deep Linux knowledge
Strong technical skills including AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, OpenStack, scripting, REST API and storage
Strong scripting skills: powershell/bash
Networking in complex scenarios
Experience with orchestration and workflow tools
Strong communication and presentation skills including white boarding
Business writing, including reference architecture and RFx responses
Ability to self-motivate and earn support from a diverse corporation
Strong inter-personal, communication and management capabilities
Have attained or working towards AWS and Microsoft Certifications
Preferred certifications: AWS CSA-A/AWS CSA-P/CCNA/CEH/CISSP/VCP/MCP
Perform ALL job duties at the highest levels
Successfully mentored other Engineers and partners
Outstanding time management and organizational skills
