Unlike IMAP, which has limitations in synchronization speed and security protocols, the Google API provides faster data retrieval, seamless integration with Google Workspace, and better scalability for handling large email volumes.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">M365\/Google Backup Page Redesign<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Previously, you could find all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp360.com\/saas-backup\/\">M365\/Google Backup<\/a> options and components in the drop-down menu under <\/span><b>M365\/Google Backup<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> menu. Now, all backup options are accessible from a single page, reducing clicks, improving usability, and simplifying navigation.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Email Notifications for Backup Issues<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To ensure proactive monitoring and issue resolution, MSP360 now provides email notifications for key backup issues, including:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Blocked Domains<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: alerts when a domain cannot be backed up due to the block.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Auto-User Activation Failure<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: notifications when there\u2019s no license available.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>No Backup License<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: alerts when there is no valid license available for backups.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p id=\"last\">\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Improved PST File Downloading with Direct PST Download Option<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A new pop-up notification window warns users when a large number of PST files are being generated and provides the option to activate Direct PST Download. With this update, you can quickly recognize which domain the report relates to, simplify report management, and enable more efficient filtering of reports.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Enhanced Auto-Unblock Operations<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The logic for auto-unblocking domains that reach storage limits has been improved. Now, unblocking occurs instantly when the triggering condition is resolved, ensuring minimal downtime and continuous service.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">New Assign License Button to Retain Data of Inactive Domains<\/span><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Inactive unlicensed domains previously had their data automatically deleted after 90 days.
