However, it leaves data management and safety up to you. With the latest release of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp360.com\/managed-backup\/\">MSP360 Managed Backup<\/a>, administrators and service providers can easily export user accounts to PST file format and ensure access to data in the event of future issues.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A PST (personal storage table) file can be used to store archived copies of calendar events, contacts and emails from Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Exchange clients. PST format is compatible with Microsoft Outlook, Gmail (Google GWMMO Tool), and third-party applications like SysTools Outlook Recovery Tool, The Bat, and others.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<h3>Use Cases<\/h3>\n<p>There are several advantages and opportunities with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace data exported to PST:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>PST files can be stored as a local backup of your cloud data<\/li>\n<li>Simplified cloud data portability<\/li>\n<li>Reduced restore time with local-to-cloud or local-to-local restores<\/li>\n<li>Guaranteed offline access to data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Export to PST With MSP360 Managed Backup<\/h2>\n<p>Export to PST in MSP360 Managed Backup is available for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp360.com\/products\/microsoft-365\/\">Microsoft 365<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp360.com\/solutions\/google-workspace\/\">Google Workspace<\/a>. With this feature, you can export full user accounts, including mailboxes, contacts and calendars, or create an item-level export of individual mailboxes, folders, and email messages. All PST files are compressed and encrypted in the user's cloud storage account.<\/p>\n<p>To create a PST file, go to the <strong>Users<\/strong> tab, select the required users from the list (you can export files for a single or multiple users) and click the <strong>Export to PST<\/strong> button in the upper navigation menu. In the slide-in that appears, you can specify the items you need to export and choose whether you need to export all of them or create a point-in-time archive. Once you\u2019re done, click <strong>Export<\/strong> and navigate to the <strong>Task Manager<\/strong> tab to see the current status of your exported files.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-52947\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/PST.gif\" alt=\"export to PST\" width=\"1245\" height=\"637\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Check <a href=\"https:\/\/help.msp360.com\/cloudberry-backup-for-ms-office-365\/office-365\/export-to-pst\">this article<\/a> to learn more about export to PST feature.<\/p>\n<h2>UI Improvements<\/h2>\n<p>We are constantly working to improve our customers' MSP360 experience and, in this release, we are glad to introduce the reworked <strong>My Account<\/strong> and <strong>Task Manager<\/strong> areas of the MSP360 web console.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, the <strong>My Account<\/strong> area was located in a separate tab. Now, you can find the <strong>My Account<\/strong> area in the slide-in that appears on the right side of the screen.
