If you're unable to activate your copy of MSP360 Explorer<\/a> or\u00a0MSP360 Backup<\/a>\u00a0online (for example, in case of access restrictions), you can use the offline activation instead.

There are two ways to\u00a0perform offline activation:\u00a0you can do\u00a0offline activation via a new graphical user interface,<\/strong> or\u00a0you can use a command line interface\u00a0as before.<\/p>\n

Important: Offline activate is not a way to circumvent our licensing policy and it will not allow you to install the product on the extra computer and\/ or when the other computer is offline and you need to move the license. If you need to reset your license you should refer to our license team at license@msp360.com<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

Below is a step-by-step instruction on how to perform offline activation for MSP360 Backup and MSP360 Explorer via a graphical user interface.<\/p>\n

Offline Activation via Graphical User Interface<\/h2>\n

1. Launch the product. Click Offline activation<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. Enter your Email address, your license key<\/strong>, and click \u201cGenerate Service Key<\/strong>\u201d button.<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: If you want to take advantage of the\u00a0<\/span>15-day free trial<\/strong> period, you can select\u00a0<\/span>Activate Trial<\/strong> and then enter the code that we'd sent you right before you started downloading the installer from our website. 3. Copy the generated\u00a0Service Key<\/strong>\u00a0by clicking \u201cCopy to Clipboard<\/strong>\u201d button and activate a product on this page<\/a>.<\/p>\n

5. After you get the activation key<\/strong> , copy the key from the email, go to the second tab of \u201cProduct Activation<\/strong>\u201d screen, and paste the key to the field in the bottom of the \u201cActivate<\/strong>\u201d tab.<\/p>\n
