Supported versions of Microsoft Exchange at the moment are 2007, 2010, 2013, 2016.<br \/>\n<!--more--><br \/>\nPlease note that this article refers to older versions of MSP360 Backup and is released in June 2013. It's different from the latest version of the product. You might want to check out our newer guide on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msp360.com\/resources\/blog\/exchange-backup\/\">Exchange backup and recovery<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Troubleshooting \"My Exchange Version is Not Supported\" for Exchange 2010<\/h2>\n<p>Exchange 2010 is fully supported by MSP360 Backup but there is a small possibility to face an error that says \"Exchange version is not supported\". To resolve such trouble, please take a few easy actions listed below:<\/p>\n<p>1. Make sure MSP360 Backup <strong>is not running<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>2. If you use Enterprise Exchange Edition of MSP360 Backup go to <strong>C:\\Users\\username\\AppData\\Local\\CloudBerry Backup Enterprise Edition<\/strong><br \/>\nor<br \/>\n<strong>C:\\ProgramData\\CloudBerry Backup Enterprise Edition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>3. If you use Exchange Edition of MSP360 Backup go to<br \/>\n<strong>C:\\Users\\username\\AppData\\Local\\CloudBerry Backup for MS Exchange Server<\/strong><br \/>\nor<br \/>\n<strong>C:\\ProgramData\\CloudBerry Backup for MS Exchange Server.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4. Open <strong>enginesettings.list<\/strong> in Notepad.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.msp360.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/2013-11-05_2019.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"622\" height=\"167\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Add<\/strong> the following tag above the tag &lt;\/EngineSettings&gt;:<br \/>\n&lt;ForceExchangeVersion&gt;2010&lt;\/ForceExchangeVersion&gt;<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/www.msp360.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/2013-11-05_2023.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"643\" height=\"184\" \/><\/p>\n<p>5. <strong>Save<\/strong> the changes.<\/p>\n<p>6. <strong>Launch<\/strong> MSP360 Backup.<br \/>\nNow if you\u2019ve done everything correctly you shall be able to backup MS Exchange 2010 databases.
