Sometimes software behaves unexpectedly and erroneously and MSP360 Explorer for Amazon S3 is not an exception. But we believe a hallmark of the great software company is not that the product is error-free, but the way how quickly the support team can react on the issue and offer a solution.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>MSP360 is set out to offer an outstanding service even for a freeware version of S3 Explorer and we treat every customer request with the highest possible priority.<\/p>\n<p>To make it easier for our customers to provide us with exhaustive information about the issue we implemented a diagnostic log, an easy way to turn it on and send it to MSP360 support stuff.<\/p>\n<div class=\"table-of-content \">\n\t\t\t\t<p>Table of Contents<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t<ul><\/ul>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n<h2>Configuring Diagnostic Log<\/h2>\n<p>To configure diagnostic log go to Tools-&gt; Options in the program menu and go to the Diagnostic and logging tab on the property pages dialog.<\/p>\n<p>You can set two things here:\u00a0Logging level and Path to the log file.<\/p>\n<p>As for logging levels, there are three options available:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>No log \u2013 no logging at all<\/li>\n<li>Low level \u2013 log only error codes of the responses, only errors are logged<\/li>\n<li>High level \u2013 try to log as much information as possible<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>By default low level is always set.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-30642 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.msp360.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/2019-04-29_12-12-26.png\" alt=\"Options tab\" width=\"420\" height=\"556\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.msp360.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/2019-04-29_12-12-26.png 420w, https:\/\/www.msp360.com\/resources\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/04\/2019-04-29_12-12-26-227x300.png 227w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 420px) 100vw, 420px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>What Information Is Stored in the Log File<\/h2>\n<p>MSP360 doesn't store any sensitive customer information in the log file (such as Amazon access identifiers).<\/p>\n<p>We only store the data that would help us to diagnose and identify an error and as a result to help a customer.<\/p>\n<h2>How to View the Log File and How to Send It to MSP360 Support<\/h2>\n<p>To view diagnostic log go to Tools\u00a0&gt;&gt;\u00a0Diagnostic in the program menu. This will open a window similar to the one on the screenshot.
