In CloudBerry Explorer the user can control licensing via a command-line interface, we have developed. Further, we are overviewing the use-cases and scripts<\/p>\n

Activating CloudBerry Explorer<\/h2>\n

To perform actions listed in this paragraph you need to start the command-line interface:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Click on the Windows\u00a0\"Start\"<\/b>\u00a0button.<\/li>\n
  2. Type\u00a0cmd.exe<\/b>\u00a0in the search line to run the Windows console, press\u00a0\"Enter\"<\/b>.<\/li>\n
  3. Change your current folder<\/b> to the folder where CloudBerry Explorer has been installed, for example:cd \"C:\\Program Files\\CloudBerryLab\\CloudBerry Explorer for Amazon S3\"<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Online Activation or Request Trial<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. Activate license<\/b>. (Email & key are required):\"CloudBerry Explorer.exe\" \/activatelicense -k \"license_key\" -e \"email\"<\/code>(where \"email\" is your email and \"license_key\" is the license key that you received when buying the product).<\/li>\n
    2. Request a trial license<\/b>.\"CloudBerry Explorer.exe\" \/activatelicense -t -tac \"trial_activation_code\"<\/code><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Offline Activation<\/h3>\n

      If you can't activate CloudBerry Explorer online you can use offline activation.<\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Generate offline license request using your email and license key:\"CloudBerry Explorer.exe\" \/activatelicense -k \"license_key\" -e \"email\" -or<\/code>(where \"email\" is your email and \"license_key\" is the license key that you received when buying the product).As an output, you will get a service key.<\/li>\n
      2. Send the service key to\u00a0support@msp360.com<\/a>. You will receive the activation key by email.<\/li>\n
      3. Activate license key\"CloudBerry Explorer.exe\" \/activatelicense -k \"license_key\" -e \"email\" -oa \"activationkey_received\"<\/code>For\u00a0time-limited license<\/b>\u00a0you need to specify\u00a0-expire<\/b>\u00a0parameter with the date you received by email:\"CloudBerry Explorer.exe\" \/activatelicense -k \"license_key\" -e \"email\" -oa \"activationkey_received\" -expire \"YYYY-MM-DD\"<\/code><\/li>\n
      4. The product is activated.<\/li>\n
      5. You can also\u00a0request the trial<\/b>\u00a0using offline:\"CloudBerry Explorer.exe\" \/activatelicense -or -t -tac \"trial_activation_code\"<\/code>As an output, you will get a service key.
